The problem is that many beaches including those at Portwrinkle prohibit dogs from May to September. Some have a designated section for dogs all year round. There are only two beaches on the south Cornish coast that are 100% dog friendly all year round, Gorran Haven near Mevagissey, and Kennegy Sands at Penzance. Please go on the web and google "Visit Cornwall - 10 dog friendly beaches - all year round", and "Cornwall Dog Friendly Beaches". (I tried to send you the links but trip advisor would not allow me to do this). I hope this helps.... Anton in Cornwall.
Lots of gorgeous tables outside and they even provide water bowls. The best view ever. I took my dog inside but she is a service animal, however I do believe they are fairly flexible.
