As for swimming.... Are there water snakes or alligators in this lake?? Seems like every lake we've been to so far people have warned us about not to swim because of this.. I miss swimming and want to find a decent safe place!!

There are no alligators, and we did no see any snakes. We even asked about snakes and they are very rare there. There is a roped off area to swim at that was very nice.
