You will be rolling over dirt field with limited space between the rows of tulips. If the ground gets muddy from rain it might be very hard to travel around. Hopefully that helps you decide .

The official tulip festival ends April 29th and in Oregon tulips in general would be done blooming but you will be here in perfect time for the Rose Festival, be sure to go to the Portland Rose Garden-it’s free. While there walk over to the Japanese Garden, it’s beautiful, and the Oregon Zoo is right there and it is a beautiful zoo.
