Really interesting historic attraction, the staff were absolutely lovely too. So many extras to help you enjoy the attraction - torches to look at the detailed paintings and so on.Full review by Caitlin A

About an hour and a half, we had a good chat with the lady working there, she had great knowledge about the history of the house.

Not that I know of I have never seen a dog there and there are many steep steps so I would advise not to but there are good walks near by so you may want to go to the castle but …
