Russborough House is a great way to spend a few hours with the walled garden, excellent woodland walks, a very good cafe and gift shop. Full review by declan a
Does anyone have a strong preference between castletown house and russborough?
A:
Russborough is better preserved, has a lot more of its contents kept in the house and on view. Go to both, take the tours but if you can only get to 1, I would go to Russborough.
Hi, how long does it take to see the house and do the maze?
A:
The guided tour lasts almost an hour. They leave on the hour ie. at 1.00pm then 2.00pm then 3.00pm etc. The Maze needs half an hour -particularly if you have children !!
