We stayed in a hotel on Madera Beach and we loved it! Not too crowded and good for swimming/wading. Families show up on the weekends and you'll notice that, but still not too many people.Full review by Rob P

The only way is on the road that follows the shore. You will walk by la Quinta Don Andres, Hotel Irma and then head up a steep hill. Easier to just take a cab. La Ropa is bigger than you think. It is NOT a 10 minute walk, about a 10 minute drive.
