Must climb to the top of the hill if you are able. It is quite a long climb however the steps are shallow, wide and you can keep having stops to catch your breath if needed. The view on the way up … Full review by fouroak

I didn't prebook. I went in Sept and there was no line at all. I only paid something like 5 or 10 euros. It wouldn't have been worth much more than that. They gave you little headphones and you walked around in a few rooms and saw photos of how Grace Kelly first met Prince Rainier. Maybe there is another tour that costs much more.
Q:
hello, please can you tell me the cost for entry to the palace, 2 adults thankyou
A:
Entry is currently 8 euro per adult. Depending on when you’re travelling there is free entry on 29 September 2019 as part of the 24th European Heritage Day.

I agree with the previous answer, a taxi or the hop on / hop off bus is essential - as it is a very steep climb up to the palace which is on the top of a hill. Well worth the effort as the views from the top are stunning - lots of restaurants up there and the cathedral where Princess Grace is buried and the aquarium.
