This museum is about a 10 minute drive north of Cairns. If you take the Highway past the airport there are a number of turn offs to some of the beaches but I would go further north to Palm Cove. You will drive past a go-kart track & laser tag place, a golf driving range and mini golf course. There is a wake boarding facility with a tow line. There is also a gondola over the rainforest to Kuranda. All that before you get to the Smithfield roundabout (go north to beaches, go left to Kuranda village). Lots of things to see and do around this area. Enjoy.
