Hubbard is a village in Dakota County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Sioux City, IA–NE–SD Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 236 at the 2010 census. The Dakota City Land Company laid out Hubbard in 1880. The town was named after Judge Asahel W. Hubbard, president of the Covington, Columbus & Black Hills Railroad.
