Viger is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in south-western France. Historically and culturally, the commune is in the province of Lavedan, south-western part of Bigorre and made up of a set of seven valleys upstream of the town of Lourdes. Exposed to an altered oceanic climate, it is drained by various small rivers. The commune has a remarkable natural heritage: two Natura 2000 sites, a protected area and three natural areas of ecological, fauna and flora interest.
