I love the Little River Canyon area and if I'm not mistaken, Martha Falls has a boardwalk and overlook to the falls. I've never ventured any farther from that wooden boardwalk area because from there, the falls are very pretty.. I'll be passing through there in the fall. Is there more of a vantage point to hiking down to the falls for photographs? Thanks

Actually, the falls at the boardwalk are Little River Falls. Martha's Falls, which is really more like a big swimming hole, is a decent hike from a trail accessed from the Litter River Overlook parking lot. First, I am not aware of a hike you can take to get a better view of Little River Falls, however, you can drive down Hwy 176 (Little River Canyon Parkway) and go to the first overlook in order to take panoramic photos of the falls and river. If you have a good zoom lens, you should be able to get wonderful shots of the falls from there. Second, if you do want to hike to Martha's Falls, it is a nice hike but know that it is strenuous at times, especially at the end as you descend to the river. It is a pretty area, but the falls there are small, but wide - people mainly go there to swim. The rock formations are nice and it is worth seeing if you are fit for the walk. I would also think that depending on the time of the year and how much rain the area has received, there may not be much water flowing in the falls. There is a parking lot to Martha's Falls that cuts out much of the hike through the woods (you will see it listed on a park map), but you would still have to maneuver down/up the most strenuous part of the trail. Also, if you have never been to Desoto Falls, you may want to check it out as well - it is not too far from Little River Canyon.
