This was fantastic. JJ was a great guide whose knowledge of the animals was amazing. Touring on the ATVs, JJ was able to get us up close to the animals while maintaining a safe distance.Full review by DayTrip595159

No, sorry but my old friend Lex Salisbury owns and is hands on in this. He is an exceptional person with an incredible amount of knowledge of his animals and the kids who come to his park. He is the person who changed Lowry Park Zoo from a little local zoo to a nationally accredited zoo, with a hundred different and playful things for the kids to do from sleepovers to classrooms to Safari tours right up to kiddie zookeepers! Lex Salisbury is the single greatest thing to happen to the Tampa Bay Area and its ecological and zoological status. So, sorry for drawing this answer out but I am sure that your children will not only have the time of their lives but come away with a new respect for animals and their habitats.
The only vehicle I saw them use was a converted, older school bus..definitely not wheelchair accessible...,might be worth a call to them...they are very friendly....

We had a 6 year old on our trip. She loved it. She petted and fed the animals. The trip is with open air trucks and quite bumpy since there are no established trails but she had a great time.

This ranch has zebra, camels, llama, water buck, various deer, ancoli cattle, ostrich, lemur, zonkeys (zebra/donkey that they “adopted” from someone who didn’t care for them), Water buffalo, and so so so many more. Seriously the most educational 2.5 hrs of any animal experience our family has had across the states.
