This area is closed due to lack of maintenance snd overgrowth. In the small area for parking there is a sign from Oct of last year saying it is overgrown and closed till maintained and that was a yea… Full review by FellowTraveler174818

We saw many different kinds of birds birds and several bald eagles. Nice picnic areas on the river, but why can't people pick up after themselves. Full review by BGSparks

You would take K to McBaine. Don't blink or you'll miss it. The Eclipse will start at 11:45. You go past McBaine and you'll see the sign to your LEFT. It's a gravel road. There are trees …

You would take K to McBaine. Don't blink or you'll miss it. The Eclipse will start at 11:45. You go past McBaine and you'll see the sign to your LEFT. It's a gravel road. There are trees but you will be able to sit there and watch the Eclipse. You might even like to take the road around to the Burr Oak. A lot of places that had sunflowers don't this year. I haven't been down there this year so I'm not sure. Bring a picnic cooler and something to drink.
