Fairly easy walk from the car park. Sadly the suspension bridge is currently closed for repairs. We did get to follow a smaller track and go right down to the water’s edge. Amazing colour!Full review by 913lizziej

The bridge is closed so there is no access to the pools. The river at the bottom of the bridge is accessible and you can wade in the pool, however, biting sand fys so bring bug sprayFull review by DayTrip49463736424

From memory it's an easy walk with a good defined track, yes there are some steps. here are no steps after the swing bridge to the waters edge so your Auntie won't be able to go any further. but the view from there is worth the walk. Might be best if you did the walk first to check if it's suitable for your Auntie to do.
