This is true that you cannot change clothes in any of the bathrooms in Ocean City or Bethany Beach. The bathrooms have attendants who sit inside the bathroom and signs are posted saying this rule is strictly enforced. We waited to change at our rental cottage. This is an inconvenience but I am sure there good reasons behind this rule.

There are several small metered parking lots in Bethany Beach. You are able to use your debit/credit card or quarters at the pay stations. I chose quarters and it cost me $10 for four hours of parking. Much more expensive than I am used to back at home. Yes, I have heard that the parking time is strictly enforced. Make sure if you are running out of time and want to stay longer you add additional time to your vehicle. One nice thing is the parking lots are close to the beach. You don't have to drag all your beach gear for blocks before you get to the beach!
