First of all, make sure they are still doing the tours. The Navajo Nation has been hard hit with the virus. The tours take about 3 hours total, from the time you arrive (early) till it's over. I …

First of all, make sure they are still doing the tours. The Navajo Nation has been hard hit with the virus. The tours take about 3 hours total, from the time you arrive (early) till it's over. I think they cost between $40-60 per person, well worth it! You have to book online 4 months in advance (if they are still doing the tours). The Upper Canyon and Lower Canyon tours were breathtaking and we plan to return some day. Utterly amazing!

I doubt very much if a wheelchair could be accommodated on these tours. They require walking and climbing in very narrow slot canyons, often in sand and dirt. It's not strenuous but …

For those who chose the walk-in reservation for the prime time tours, how early did you arrive to reserve one?

It appeared that there were space for everyone who did a walk-in reservation. Just be there at least 1 hour before the actual tour time.
