This monastery should be added to anyone’s itinerary who visits Cassino especially those with an interest in WWII. The restoration work completed after WWII is outstanding. Full review by Rosemary H

No - they have a room where there are a few vending machines you can get a snack or drink. It's not that far from town but you have to drive all the way back down the hill (with switch backs) to get there. There's really no place to stop and picnic either but you can always pack a lunch and eat in the parking lot.
